when i was about twelve years old I started fooling around with guitars and really getting into the blues. I was listening to Lightinin Hopkins, Led Zeppelin, J.J.Cale and Jethro Tull. I thought Jethro Tull was the coolest band name ever and started thinking about what name i could call a band if i ever formed one. Around the same time i happened to be reading Gullivers Travels and stumbled upon a perfect name. Buff Jerkin. In the story, when Gulliver crashes his ship and Wakes up on Lilliput he  discovers to his dismay that he has been strapped down to the ground....

So after various teenage bands, Wool & Dye Cast being the most notable, I recorded Along Daze End (BJ1) with long time collaborator and friend Davey G. The (mini) album was recorded in The Barracks.
A limited edition of 100 C20 tapes were produced with artwork by Rob Carr. I think this was sometime in 1996.
Next came Five (BJ2), another limited edition mini album with on C20 tapes. Five was way crazier and out there than Along Daze End.
Both of these albums are impossible to find, I don't even own a copy!
After this the Freakin' Shams (BJ3) were on the rise and the band eventually completed their debut album shortly before calling it a day in 2003.
The album sold all 200 of the compact discs that were produced! The songs were well received by friends of the band and the Freakin' Theme
was even aired by Dave Fanning!
